Do you want to make a difference in your community?

Consider a career with the YMCA

There are lots of jobs out there, but few opportunities to work for an organization that is committed to inspiring health, wellness and a strong sense of community.

The Y is one of those rare places. When you join our team, you don’t just get a job – you become a member of our YMCA family. Not only will you have the chance to help children, youth and adults of all ages reach their potential, you’ll have fun doing it!

No matter what role is the best fit for you, you’ll be able to make a valuable contribution and help impact the lives of others. If you’re the kind of person that puts people first, leads by example and shares our values of being honest, inclusive and respectful, you’re a lot like us and we’d like to meet you. Simply put, a career at the Y is a career with a purpose.

Here’s what some of our staff team have to say about working at the Y:

“I have been so grateful for the opportunities that I have been given to grow as a leader throughout the YMCA of Niagara.  Each day I have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team who make my Y experience truly amazing.”

Caroline Husband, Niagara West YMCA, Child & Youth Team Member

“My experiences working for the YMCA Day Camps have given me the opportunities to become the leader I always knew I could be. If it wasn’t for working with the YMCA Day Camps, I would have never developed the love for the career I am in today.”

Jordan Dick, Camp Integration Supervisor

“The satisfaction I feel at the end of my work day is exactly what I was hoping for.  I am proud to be a part of an association that genuinely wants to improve peoples’ lives.”

Lori Boyd, Walker Family YMCA, Membership Director

“Working at the YMCA means adding a lot of new members to your family, and for some, it makes a world of difference.”

Alex Pearson, Youth Action Team Member
