Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls YMCA branch is a 57,000 sq. ft. full-service membership facility. It features a four lane 25-metre pool with a chair lift, a water slide and a beach-entry leisure pool that includes spray features and a swirl bench. There is a 3 lane track, triple gymnasium, 4 racquet courts, a 7500 sq. ft. fitness centre and multipurpose rooms. Our YMCA is a place to work out, make new friends, volunteer, bring your family, relax, learn about yourself, improve your health and so much more!

We are proud to be a part of this innovative sharing model of community service within the MacBain Community Centre in Niagara Falls. This Centre is a result of a partnership between the City of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls Public Library and the YMCA. Other partners include Heart Niagara Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara Falls, the Coronation 50 Plus Drop-in Centre and the Niagara Falls United Way.

The Centre is located at 7150 Montrose Road on the northeast corner of Montrose Road and McLeod Road, close to Niagara Square shopping mall and the QEW.

Hours

The Niagara Falls Branch of the YMCA Niagara will be open the following hours for your convenience. Please note that on holidays, our program schedules may be reduced.

Regular Building Hours
Monday-Friday 5:30am - 10:30pm
Saturday 7:00am - 8:00pm
Sunday & Holidays 7:00am - 6:00pm (except Christmas Day)

Membership Fees

(Fees effective September 1, 2011.)

The YMCA annually reviews fees and makes adjustments September 1. But this year, to assist members with the new HST transition, fees will be held at the 2009/2010 published rates.

Child category exempt for HST
A photo id/proof of age is required when purchasing a membership
First month will be prorated to reflect start date.
Family applies to a maximum of two adult spouses living at the same address.
Family with children option applies to a maximum of two adult spouses and any number of dependent children up to age 24 living at the same address.
Young Adults with a valid student card may arrange 4 or 8 month memberships. All other memberships are annual.
Building Fee is used to maintain YMCA facilities and equipment through capital improvements. Adult and Membership Plus members will be required to pay a Building Fee. Only one Building Fee is paid per family living at the same address. The Building Fee is non-refundable and must be paid at time of registration or over a maximum of 3 months.

$100 per adult general/family + HST (all branches)
$125 per Membership Plus/family + HST (Niagara Centre, Niagara West & Niagara Falls)
$150 per Membership Plus/family + HST (St. Catharines)

Regional Membership

YMCA of Niagara members have the opportunity to participate at branches other than their home Membership Centre. Young adults and adults will have unlimited General Membership access at all Niagara region YMCAs. Child/Youth members have program privileges in their home YMCA and unlimited open/family swim access at all other branches. Unlimited Membership Plus access is granted to those who pay the Regional Fee. Otherwise, Niagara Falls and Niagara Centre Membership Plus members may access St. Catharines twice per month and have unlimited use of the general change room.
 

Payment Options

You may pay for your annual membership in full by cash, cheque, Interac, MasterCard and Visa, or by installment through our convenient Pre-authorized Payment Plan.  

Pre-Authorized Payment

You may find it most convenient to use our Pre-authorized Payment Plan. All monthly memberships on a pre-authorized plan will be continuous. The YMCA requires 10 days' written notice to cancel.
