Membership Program Schedule

General Program Information
Your child's membership provides the opportunity for unlimited access to Open Access programs and one swim lesson. Children are required to bring their membership card to each program and be signed in and out by their parent/guardian.

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are a registered program. Parents may register their child for one swim lesson per week. To view the swim lesson schedule, please click here.

Youth Recreational - Registered
(10+ years)

Leader Corps
Build and expand your leadership skills and roles by taking part in Leader Corps or Jr. Leaders. These programs involve games, activities and events that focus on leadership, team work, trust, co-operation, volunteer involvement, and fun. It's a great way to meet new friends and take part in activities that will build personal growth.

Jr. Leader Corps 10 - 13 years
Thursday 6:00-7:30pm

Leader Corps 14 - 17 years
Thursday 7:30-9:00pm

Karate
(ages 7 - 12 years)
Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm

Youth Fitness Orientations
This orientation is required for youth members 13 to 15 years to work out in the Fitness Centre. Instruction on how to use the equipment, safety and weightroom etiquette is included in this orientation. Orientations are done by appointment and are required prior to being granted full membership privileges.

Child Recreational - Open Access

Open Access Programs for children 3 and up allow members to participate in fun, active programs of their choice, at their convenience. Children are required to bring their membership card to each program and will be signed in and out by their parent/guardian. It is recommended that children arrive at the program when it begins to ensure their spot in the program. There will be access limits for the programs.

Family - Open Access

Family programs are designed to encourage parent and child interaction in a fun and safe environment. Members may participate at any time; registration is not required. Please note not all programs run year round.

Family Swims
Children and parents can enjoy time together in the pool. Parents must be in the pool participating with their children. Please see the pool schedule for family and open member swim times.

Adult Instructional

Fitness Orientation
YMCA Fitness Staff are qualified, caring individuals who will help you set realistic and achievable goals and develop a personalized exercise program for you. Please see the Membership Desk for details and to book an appointment.

Adult Learn to Swim
Learn the basics including kicking, breathing and the front crawl along with some water safety instruction.
