Federal Public Sector Youth Internship Program

  • Are you between the ages of 15 and 30 and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident?
  • Are you unemployed or underemployed and not attending school on a full-time basis?
  • Are you a non-high school graduate or a high school graduate? (College and university graduates, apply online at www.yip.gc.ca)
  • Would you like PAID work experience and a mentor for guidance?

If you answered YES to these questions, click the links below to view the current Internship positions available or call your local YMCA Employment Branch to find out how you can apply. NOW is your chance to gain real work experience within a federal government office to develop your employability skills.

The Federal Public Sector Youth Internship Program, www.yip.gc.ca, is sponsored by the Government of Canada and delivered in partnership with YMCAs across Canada.
